AOMI training participants spend very little time in the classroom.  The tools learned are put to practice by implementation on the host company’s factory floor.  In other words, a “real world” laboratory is provided to strengthen the skills of the participants implementing production system tools. 

The bottom line - The AOMI program is very shop floor focused, as well as Leadership focused.  “At the Process” is constantly emphasized as a major part of the role of the leader in a production system.
